Announcement! Bruce and Adrienne are engaged!

Bruce wanted to surprise Adrienne in some way, and thought for weeks about how to make his proposal special. He got the idea to leave a trail of curling ribbon and long-stemmed white roses -- all the way from Ken and Linda's condo -- 3 to 4 blocks to the gazebo, which is very near the beach.

Of course it didn't hurt that this was incredibly romantic!

And let there be Mouse...

This is a photo of Cyndy's chihuahua "Mouse" --he loves to play "keep-away" --that's sort of like fetch, but when he brings the toy, you have to wait for him to set it down and yip. If you try to throw it again too soon, before he is done, he will take it from you and run away. Go figure.

Welcome "Aaliyah Jade" ~ April 1st, 2007

Still bearing the battle scars of birth, here is Aaliyah Jade at 4 days old. She weighed in at 9-lbs, 3-oz, and was 21 inches long!

That toothless grin says it all!

Isak landed the 2nd biggest trout in the annual Snowline Fishing Derby on Saturday, which was also his 8th birthday. It weighed an amazing 17.75 ounces! Anna got skunked but she helped net Isak's big one! If any of you'd like to come up to the cabin and do some fishing this summer, Isak will be happy to share his secrets. He hasn't quite mastered the killing, hook removal, cleaning, cooking and eating of the trout...he just leaves that for mom to do. :) Hope you all had a great long weekend! ~~Carmen
